An update…

A lot has changed since my last post in May. My heart Walter crossed the rainbow bridge in August. He was 16.5 and let us know he was ready to join Rupert. It was at home, peaceful and surrounded my love. He and Pippa were so close, even with their vast age difference so we knew he would send her a new best friend. Sure enough, 4 weeks later, a little 9 week old stray was picked up by one of the rescuers at Zoe’s Animal rescue. I spotted his photo on his foster mom’s ig account and made a comment about how handsome he was. Then we met him…then Pippa met him…and that was that. We all knew this was one who Walter’s spirit guided into our world. He and Pippa bonded right away and now we have a 4 month old, lanky trouble maker keeping us on our toes! We adore him and know that Walter and Rupert are probably laughing as they watch him chewing on his sisters face and barking at his pops for extra treats.

I’ve been procrastinating updating the blog and website so because it’s just too hard but I know we have to honor the memory of Walter & Rupert by toodling our little hearts out! Pip & Baz will make them proud! xoxoxoxo
