Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Of course!! They are the star of the show but you are more than welcome to join them for a few of the shots. It will be very relaxed and full of snuggles.
2. One of my pets doesn’t like the camera. Can I email you photos of them to photoshop into our retro portrait?
Sorry, no. All images used in the retro portraits are taken by me in the studio.
3. What if my dog can’t be off leash?
Don’t worry! Their happiness and safety is my top concern. Many of the dogs (and cats) I photograph are on leash and I remove it in editing so no one will ever know!
4. My pet does not like to pose for the camera, can they still get their photo taken?
Definitely! I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to get their attention. Sometimes they won’t even realize it’s happening. I also ask that you bring along their favorite treats or toys. If they are nervous around the camera, we’ll take our time, give them space and let them get used to the new situation.
If you are coming to the studio or photobooth and have a high energy pup, take them for a good frolic before hand to get some of that energy out.
5. Do you print the photos?
I provide high resolution digital images that you can print yourself at a lab of your choosing. About a week after our session I will send you a preview gallery of low resolution watermarked images so you can choose the ones you want. If you’d like to purchase more than the ones included in your package just let me know! Additional images are $20 each.
6. Do you only photograph dogs?
Nope! If it is your pet and you love them more than anything I will take their photo! Dogs, cats, bunnies, pigs, chickens…..they are all supermodels in my opinion and I will love them as much as you do!
7. What if the weather is bad on our shoot day?
I shoot in all sorts of weather conditions. Over cast skies can give us the loveliest even light. If it’s pouring rain and stormy we can reschedule to another day.
8. Can you do a retro portrait at our home?
The retro portraits are only available at our garage studio. Everything is set up and in place and unfortunately not mobile
9. How do I book a session?
