I just want to thank everyone who had me come out to snap photos of their favourite furry friend! I had a wonderful summer and can't wait to see what comes next! Here a few shots from the last few months! Enjoy!
Oh Nash! Such a handsome fellow!
Oh Cassius is such a handsome fellow! I mean just look at his smile!
A very handsome gentleman, a beautiful sunny day and a hike through East Sooke Park. Yup. Sounds pretty perfect! Here is a selection of photos from George's photo session!
Sure it was pouring rain but this smile made our mini session totally worthwhile!
We've been having a lot of fun this month and there is a lot of new to share! First, I'm having a contest on my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/wallyandroopspetphotography/) Follow the directions on the pinned post on my page and you'll be entered to win a full 90 minute photo session! Second, I have a confirmed spot in the YYJ car free day in June. It'll be so much fun and I'll have some cool new art prints to debut. Third, my first two pet sessions are all booked in. The handsome Nash will be on May. 5 and the handsome George will be on May.7. I can't wait to share some of their photos with you! For now, here are some of my latest photos. A few of these were taken at Mt.Doug, a few were taken at Thetis Lake and a few were taken at Island View Beach. I don't know the names of the frolicking dogs and puppies on the beach but they were so wonderfully happy that I couldn't help but take a few photos of them! Enjoy!
It's one of our favourite places to wander about! The sky was a bit dark but the morning sun popped out and we got some great photos (after Walter got a final primp from his pops....and a couple of kisses on his forehead of course)
I love how black and white images really accentuate the textures and detail. This is especially wonderful when it comes to furry faces! Below are 3 of my my favourite images from our last few adventures. Enjoy!
So it's been my first week of playing with my new camera and I'm sooooo smitten with it! I went through and customized some buttons and have been putting it through its paces. Going from 3 fps to 6.5 fps is amazing and I love how it works under different lighting conditions. I still have a lot to learn about what it's capable of but so far so good!
